This listing is for a 1960s FRANKENSTEIN'S HAND BANK, made in Japan by TN. This is a true "Frankenstein's" Hand, not the later "Mystery" bank. It measures 6 inches long and is made of tin with a plastic hand. Features great lithoed graphics all around. The bank operates using a wind-up motor with a built-in key underneath and ON/OFF switch in the coin holder. The toy is in excellent condition overall and still works great. You activate the hand by putting a coin in the holder, or you can use your finger to avoid scratching the litho. The door slowly opens with a creaky hinge sound and the hand comes out to snatch the coin. You get one, possibly two, snatches per each wind. There is a coin access door underneath.
