There's a lot of Chinese fake 3M. It generally looks like similar, but if you were to ever be involved in a night time wreck and were found to have non-compliant tape on your truck or trailer, the lawyers would have a field day. 3M conspicuity tape is made and tested to the most stringent standards, and meets all applicable DOT-C2 and NHTSA regulations. The 913 series of tapes have a 5 year warranty and are red and a silver-ish white. For the 10 year tape that's red and exact white, do a search for 3M 983 series tape. Meets all legal requirements for US on commercial trucks and trailers.
