Antique Metal Iron Toy Doll Bed Feather Mattress & 2 Hand Lace Edged Pillows

Description

This is a vintage, and possibly antique, metal doll bed. It is very sturdy, weighing around eight pounds. The bed is put together with rivets, nuts and bolts and springs. The platform where the mattress sets consists of five thin slats of metal connected at one end with rivets and the other end with springs. The bed has been repainted in an ivory color.  One side each of the metal headboard and footboard has stenciled hearts, stars and clouds in pink, green, blue and yellow. The footboard has some "play" to it which makes it bulge inward or outward. The mattress has feathers for the filling. The bottom of the mattress has yellowed a bit where in has been in contact with the metal slats of the bed platform. The pillows do not have feathers fillings. The larger pillow has one 1/8 by 1/2 inch area where it is somewhat threadbare, not quite a hole. There are a few tiny brown spots on the fabric of the pillows. The lace edgings appear complete and intact. See above for measurements.
