We are now pleased to offer our second ultimate wooden doll trunk kit which is an authentic and faithful reproduction of a wonderful Bliss ABC trunk measuring 12" long by 7-1/8" high by 7-5/8" deep. The trunk includes a tray. And this project includes not only all the goods and graphics to complete the trunk but also Amy Erickson's fabulous clothing patterns to fit a 7-1/2" doll like that shown plus 8 mini books many of which are ABC books, a doll size store building, two rocking toys (a cat and a dog) and a die cut parasol to fold.
This project does not include my actual doll modeling the clothing or the fabric to complete the pattern.
I have also included photos of both one of my Bleuette dolls and one of my 12" fashion dolls resting on the bottom of the trunk. This trunk will work very well to hold either and their complete wardrobes.
The following is included in this kit:
Fourteen pieces of wood precut with complete instructions on how to use them to assemble the project.
3 chipboard rectangular pieces cut exactly to size for the curved lid top, the trunk bottom, and the tray bottom just like the antique trunk.
Cardstock graphics to cover the entire trunk both inside and out and the tray.
A black piece of vinyl to prep and glue to the edge of the trunk top just like on the original.
Twill tape and tacks to install the lid support to hold the lid upright while open.
Brass hinges and nails.
Grungeboard and graphic image to create a faux latch like that shown.
Patterns for a clothing ensemble to fit a 7-1/2" doll including dress, slip, panties, hat, swim outfit, swim cap, and swim robe.
Graphics for you to cut out and assemble 8 miniature books, a doll sized store, and a cat and dog rocking toy.
A die cut parasol to fold and add a skewer for the handle. The skewer is not included...only the die cut parasol top.

What you need to provide to complete this project:
White craft glue like Designer Tacky or Gripp
Scissors and if possible a paper cutter
Black acrylic paint and a brush to apply it.
A medium brown shoe polish to seal and antique the paper after it's glued to the trunk
and rags to apply it
Optional clamps to hold the wooden parts securely while your glue is drying
"Yes" paper glue and a stiff spreader like an old credit card for gluing all the cardstock down onto the trunk.
Fabric, sewing machine, needle and thread and other sewing needs to sew the patterns.
A doll to display in your trunk.
Marking pens to tint the edges of the grungeboard to make it look old...also to antique the included brass hinges.

Shipping is FREE on my store kit projects in the USA and I ship by USPS Priority Mail. The international priority mail shipping rate on 3 lbs. is .60 and I deduct .60 (the amount it costs me to ship "free" to folks in the U.S.) from this total. Therefore foreign orders pay shipping in the amount of .00 only. I could add one more flat paper project to this international shipment at no additional shipping charge.
