The digital precision of the
load weight gauge
allows you to
monitor how much weight your truck, tractor or trailer air suspension is carrying
. Drivers
can calibrate the gauge to the legal limit, and the gauge will be accurate to 100 lbs. when fully loaded. It only takes 10-15 seconds to calibrate, and the gauge will not need to be calibrated again, even if the load weight gauge is removed from the truck temporarily. The gauge is built to be accurate towards the legal limit, so the gauge will be less accurate when there is a light load, or no load on the trailer.
Pounds are displayed in the thousands on the gauge display. For example, if the load weight was 33,900 lbs, the display would read “33.9”. Calibration of the digital load weight gauge is easy. Weigh the truck at 34,000 lbs. on the axles, and hold the button on the gauge until the screen locks. Take your finger off the button and then tap until the display reads "34.0" and now the correct load weight will be displayed. The load gauge also comes with a button to select the display delay. The 1 second setting is optimal for loading, while the 60 second setting is optimal for driving. That way, the display stays steady and will only change every minute.
The
