VICTORIAN / EASTLAKE DOLL BED, With Handmade Bedding
I originally offered these as a pair but one has been sold.
The BED with the 80C on the back is the only one left.

We acquired the Beds from a friend's estate, they had been passed down from her husband's family.  We think they were for his mother and her sister.  The family estate had several beautiful quilts so we believe the quilts are handmade, possibly by their mother.
The Beds (circa late 1800's) have fabulous LITHOGRAPHS over Oak/Chestnut/Ash.  The Lithographs on the Beds are in very good condition for their age and look like the Beds are painted or inlaid with gorgeous motifs.  The lithographs are on the front of the headboard and the front and back of the footboard.  The side rails are grooved, a classic Eastlake design.  There are two original slats - the other is a replacement.  On the back of one of the headboards it looks like 80 cents is written in black (see photo).  Each of the headboards has a split in the wood (see photos).  There is some scuffing on the wood on both beds which can be easily touched up.  The remaining Bed is in very good antique condition (see photos).  The Beds measure 23 5/8" long, the headboards are 14 1/8" at the widest point and stand 17" at the highest point, the footboards are 14 1/8" wide and stand 8 3/8" high.  The inside dimensions are 22" long x 11 1/2" wide.  The beds can be easily disassembled for shipping by removing the screws that attach the headboard and footboard to the side rails.  Vintage bedding included:  (1) ticking mattress with cover, (1) pillow with lace trimmed cover, and (1) handmade patchwork quilt.  The bedding is in good vintage condition--there are some stains and yellowing on the mattress and pillow and cover--we have not laundered any of the bedding (see photos).
