VTG Primitive Handmade Wooden Doll Baby Rocking CRADLE

Description

This vintage primitive wooden doll rocking cradle was handmade, presumably here in the U.S., but it is not marked in any way -- it might qualify as antique. It may be pine and is stained a warm brown. It was nailed and possibly glued together. There are no signs of splitting, but it has typical marks from age and use. As measured from the outside, the main box is 11 1/4" x 5 1/8" at its longest points. The rockers add another 2" in width on each side. The headboard and footboard are 5" and 2 1/4" high, respectively. As measured on the inside, it is 1 3/4" deep nearest the footboard.
It's a cute piece that will delight any child, young and old alike -- either as an actual toy to be played with, or as part of a primitive/rustic display!
